No glory here. We families of the dead soldiers are just left with a life of sadness and regret when our loved one lies in a desert cemetery that we can never visit. My mother missed her first husband every day of her life.
We are unable to walk with you to the cenotaph this year but we stand alongside you all in spirit. Stand strong for us.
